MINISTRY TEAMS
The Bible encourages every believer to "put their hands to the good work" (Nehemiah 2.18). At Hart Baptist Church, our Ministry Teams allow volunteers to use their spiritual gifts in providing direction and leadership for the ministries of the church. Those participating on Ministry Teams make a one-year commitment to be actively involved in the work of their particular area. The congregation at Hart is a proactive group of believers that do not care to go beyond the wall of the sanctuary. There are multiple opportunities to be a part of a ministry and help throughout the year, whether you are on a ministry team or not.
DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
The Discipleship Ministry Team coordinates discipleship and training opportunities for the congregation. This includes: Development of large and small group discipleship studies; review and attainment of curriculum; enlistment of teachers/facilitators; and, calendaring and scheduling.
FEED THE NEED" FOOD MINISTRY
This Team provides direction, guidance, and oversight for the Tuesday afternoon worship and food distribution ministry. The emphasis of this team is to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of those to whom the church ministers.
FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY
This Ministry Team coordinates and facilitates special gatherings, events, and celebrations through the church's calendar year.
MUSIC MINISTRY
The Music Ministry Team coordinates and calendars the music ministry of the church. Opportunities include: Praise Team; musicians and vocalists; adult choir; special music; seasonal events; and special occasion presentations. The Minister of Music serves as team leader.
PRESCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
This ministry coordinates a variety of Church ministries, including: Nursery and Preschool scheduling; Sunday morning Children's Church scheduling and curriculum; 'Accelerate' (Wednesday evening Children's ministry); summer children's ministries and activities; and Vacation Bible. The Director of Preschool and Children serves as team leader.
SAFETY AND SECURITY TEAM
Security is the highest priority of our congregation. This team provides oversight to security issues for every service and ministry event on our church campus. The team schedules, trains, and equips volunteers who serve in this important role.
STUDENT MINISTRY
The Student Ministry Team coordinates the ministries and activities of students in grades six through twelve. The Minister of Students serves as team leader.
